What is your educational background?

I have extensive accredited training and experience in the field of hypnotherapy. As a student at the only hypnotherapy college accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education, I am knowledgeable and ready to help you achieve your goals.

You can look far and wide, and you'll find many hypnotherapists online who offer hypnotherapy services, but how many of them are willing to share their educational experience?

The answer is: not many.

You'll see claims of being "certified," but what most people don't know is that there are no educational requirements in any state regarding hypnotherapists, and in 48 states there are no registration requirements. Anyone can legally call themselves a hypnotherapist. The two states who "register" hypnotherapists simply check to make sure you don't have a criminal record. Even those who have some training usually take a 100-Hour certification course during a two-week program to receive a certification that has no recognition beyond the diploma mill that certifies them. I’m a student of the only college of hypnotherapy accredited by an agency which is recognized by the United States Department of Education. Because of this government recognition, I was able to get federal student aid to attend. Only legitimate educational institutions become eligible for such federal funding. Additionally, the program I am attending consists of two full years of training. Even at the 25% completion point in my training, I have almost 400 hours of schooling under my belt, so I already have almost four times the education that a typical clinical hypnotherapist receives, and my education only grows as my full-time schooling will continue until November of 2025 when a total of 1,440 hours of educational instruction will earn me a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Associate of Occupational Studies Degree in Mind-Body Psychology.

How long is a hypnotherapy session?

Each hypnotherapy session lasts one hour. This consists of:

  • Cognitive processing time where we talk about your presenting issue(s) and progress you’ve made since your last session.
  • Discussion of what we’ll do in hypnosis.
  • Time spent in the hypnotic state making the changes in the subconscious mind that we discussed.

I bring you out of the hypnotic state at around 50 minutes, and we get you scheduled for your next session.

How often will I have hypnotherapy appointments?

Ideally, hypnotherapy appointments occur each week. It’s the ideal amount of time between sessions to increase the effectiveness of hypnotherapy.

In some situations, we may be able to schedule sessions every two weeks or every month depending on what your presenting issue is.

The longer the time between sessions, the more opportunity your subconscious has to return to your original state of homeostasis, and that’s counterproductive to the progression of hypnotherapy. It will likely result in additional hypnotherapy sessions being needed to reach resolution with your presenting issue.

How many hypnotherapy sessions will I need?

Every client is unique, and every presenting issue is different for each unique client. Traditional therapy usually consists of 30 sessions on average for any given presenting issue. With hypnotherapy, the average number of sessions is six.

It is important to note that the number of sessions will depend on each unique situation. We may be able to work together and bring resolution to your presenting issue in about six sessions, but for some it may take upwards of 20 sessions or more.

Some clients are also recurring clients who have ongoing weekly appointments. These clients seek to talk about the stressors of their week, vent out those stressors via the hypnotic state, and seek positive reinforcement to maintain a beneficial mental state.

What do you charge?

In my regular practice, I charge $150.00 per hypnotherapy session. I provide a $50.00 per session discount to the ABDL/Babyfur community, so the cost per session becomes $100.00. The session is invoiced at the end of your session, and payment is due within seven days of the invoice being sent.

Invoices are generated and payments are processed via PocketSuite, and you will receive invoices via email and/or text message following our sessions.

Because of the community discount, no package discounts are available.

Do you accept insurance?

Unfortunately, hypnotherapy services are not covered by the vast majority of insurance companies, and I do not accept any forms of insurance at this time.
